TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payments received prior to the retreat for which you are registered are spent on supplies, art materials, finance charges, admin, and other costs long before the retreat begins.
Cancellation fee prior to March 21 - $150.
No refunds will be issued if attendee cancels March 22 forward; however, if cancellation is due to a genuine emergency 25% may be credited toward a future Wild Onion Retreats retreat or workshop.
If Wild Onion Retreats must cancel for any reason at any time full payment will be refunded.
No refunds or credits will be issued after the start of the retreat.
I acknowledge / understand that Wild Onion Retreats does not diagnose or treat medical problems or concerns. I understand that I am solely responsible for my health, safety, and well-being. I agree that I will complete a health survey and advise the retreat leaders of any health concerns I have. I will also inform them of any activity or movement which I cannot safely perform, and agree that I will not perform any activity or movement which I feel is likely to cause pain or injury. I agree to hold Kathleen Ainscough, Julie Andrés, and Wild Onion Retreats harmless from any and all responsibility for any injury which I may sustain during or as a result of my participation in the Creative Embodiment Retreat.
I agree not to copy or adapt Wild Onion Retreats materials in any way for commercial use.
I agree not to use scented (natural or other) perfumes, creams, lotions, hair products, etc. (Use of these products can seriously affect others’ comfort and enjoyment of the program.)
Check in time: 3 pm
Arrival – take the 4:30 pm ferry or earlier to be on time for 6 pm opening on Friday. Check BC Ferries schedule for times. Arrive early! Friday ferries to Bowen are very full.

Departure – retreat will end to allow for 6 pm sailing from Snug Cove to Horseshoe Bay. Please pack your cars and empty rooms prior to the Sunday afternoon workshop.
Full kitchen facilities are provided. Meals are self-catered, so bring what you need for the time that you are at the retreat. Bring easy to prepare foods and favourite snacks. You may use the fridge and freezer, stove, ovens, and small appliances (e.g., blender).
Tea and fruit will be provided in the mornings.
You may want to order meals from one of the local restaurants in advance to save time during meal breaks. A suggestion list will be provided upon request.
Mats and props are provided. (You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat or any props if you prefer to use them.)
Other: Cell phone reception and internet are available. Devices must be on silent during retreat sessions.
WHAT TO BRING
- personal items & toiletries, towel, washcloth
- food / nourishiment
- water bottle
- writing pad or journal and pens
- comfortable clothing for yoga (think layers)
- a blanket or shawl for sitting in circle
- pillows or other items for sitting comfort; zaisu (legless) chairs are provided
- comfortable outdoor clothing (think layers)
- walking/hiking shoes
- rain clothes
- indoor shoes or slippers
- flashlight (Bowen Island is very dark at night)
- alarm clock
